Coop Student Rich Walker was photographed for the Wyoming Tribune Eagle in July, 2016. He participated in the annual BioBlitz event, held at Belvoir Ranch near Cheyenne.
This year’s BioBlitz saw 150 volunteers and biologists creating an inventory of plants and animals that live at the ranch. It was hosted in eastern Wyoming for the first time this year.
The University of Wyoming Biodiversity Institute was one of the four organizers for the weekend. Other organizers included The Nature Conservancy, Audubon Rockies, and the Wyoming Geographic Alliance.
