Research in the Chalfoun lab on sagebrush-obligate songbird nest survival on energy fields was recently featured in news articles by the University of Wyoming and Wyofile. This research, a part of a 7-year study on the Pinedale Anticline and Jonah gasfield, is trying to understand the mechanisms underlying decreased songbird nest survival near energy development.
