The Wyoming Chapter of The Wildlife Society recognized Matt Hethcoat and Anicka Kratina-Hathaway, both students of Dr. Anna Chalfoun, for exceptional presentations of research at this year’s annual meeting of the chapter held in Rock Springs, WY in October 2013. Matt was awarded the Best Student Presentation Award for his talk entitled “Nest predation and energy development: What’s coming down the pipe for sagebrush songbirds?”. Anicka was awarded the Best Student Poster Award for her poster entitled “Bighorn Columbia Spotted Frog spatial ecology.”
