In March of 2015, researchers from the Wyoming Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, in collaboration with the Shoshone and Irapaho tribes on the Wind River Indian Reservation, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department captured bighorn sheep in 3 herds in northwest Wyoming. This research, led by Assistant Professor Kevin Monteith, is a new project aimed at understanding the influences of nutrition on the susceptibility to disease.
